The High Cathedral of the Eternal Flame is the Solar Church’s crown of stone and light—part temple, part court, part machine for turning doctrine into enforceable reality. Pilgrims come to pray. Nobles come to be seen praying. Everyone else comes because the Cathedral’s decisions ripple outward into taxes, marriages, pardons, and wars.

Loyalists call it the Sun Crown. Common folk call it simply “the Flame,” as if naming it too fully would invite attention. Standing in its precinct feels like being watched by a beautiful idea that does not always care about people.
