Humans

What players would know

In the human-majority countries, most towns and villages are human-run but rarely unified. Alliances form around trade, marriage, and shared threats, then dissolve when the next season’s problems arrive.

Imperial authority (where it exists at all) is thin. Local lords, guilds, and caravans negotiate power deal by deal, and a hard winter can redraw “politics” faster than any decree.

Common rumors

  • Every province has its own petty war brewing.
  • Paper notes and guild favors matter more than crowns.
