Elves
What players would know
Elves are long-lived custodians of harmony and stability: stewards of archives, forests, and heraldry—people who think in decades and act as if patience is a moral virtue. Their counsel props up noble legitimacy, their paperwork outlasts wars, and their aesthetic sense makes even oppression look calm.
They move slowly on decisions, preferring careful curation over quick action. That slowness can feel like wisdom or like indifference, depending on who is bleeding.
Elves commonly live up to ~1500 years. That long horizon shapes everything: debts, favors, grudges, and “temporary” measures that become policy.
