The Three-Moon Sea
What players would know
The sea is not a road. With three moons tugging at the world, tides argue with each other, currents migrate, and “safe passage” is never permanent—only negotiated.
Ports live on conditional knowledge: this channel is passable this month, at this moonrise, if your captain knows the signs and your crew can stomach what they’ll see when the water decides to misbehave.
Common rumors
- Old charts get people killed because they encourage confidence.
- Monsters treat shipping lanes like feeding corridors.
- Some priests can “hear” the tide the way others hear confession.
